Keenan Norris’s novel Brother and the Dancer is the winner of the 2012 James D. Houston Award and was nominated for the John Leonard Prize. Keenan serves as a guest editor for the Oxford African American Studies Center and is tenured faculty at Evergreen Valley College. He is also a lecturer at California State University, East Bay.
